Tanya Freed was born to help others—and real estate has always been part of her story. A Colorado native from the Denver Metro Area, Tanya’s connection to homes, property, and community began early. She grew up immersed in the real estate world through her family, gaining firsthand exposure to how properties are managed, built, improved, and thoughtfully bought and sold.
Her mother, Tina, built her career in property management and real estate ownership, buying and selling homes while managing properties long before joining Tanya in real estate full time. Her father owned and operated Freed Construction, a local concrete business. While other kids were spending weekends at the mall, Tanya was touring open houses for fun with her mom or visiting fix-and-flip projects with her dad—learning early that homes are more than transactions; they’re foundations for stability, growth, and family well-being.
That belief is now the heart of Freed Family Properties, where the mission is clear: Cultivating family well-being and inspired living through real estate while delivering a luxury-level experience.
Tanya holds both a Business degree and a degree in Educational Leadership, a rare combination that sets her apart in today’s real estate market. Her background allows her to approach each transaction strategically while communicating clearly and compassionately. Clients value her ability to break down complex processes, listen deeply to their needs, advocate fiercely on their behalf, and guide them confidently—whether they’re first-time buyers, growing families, or small business and investment property owners.
Service beyond the transaction is central to Tanya’s work. Alongside her mother, she is a Captain for Project I See You, a nonprofit initiative created to support single women on their path to homeownership. Through education, advocacy, and a $10,000 homeownership grant, the program exists to help women feel seen, supported, and empowered as they build stability and generational wealth through real estate.
Outside of real estate, Tanya is a devoted mom to her son, Elijah, and believes wholeheartedly that where you live shapes how you live. She spends her free time exploring playgrounds and skateparks around the state with him, and attending sporting events. As a true Colorado lifestyle enthusiast, Tanya also enjoys surfing and wakeboarding at Chatfield Lake, hiking the Front Range, snowboarding at Epic mountain resorts, and traveling with her family to destination golf locations—experiences that continually reinforce her passion for inspired living.
Today, Tanya is honored to serve her clients alongside her mother, Tina, as part of a trusted mother–daughter real estate team. Together, they bring decades of combined experience in property management, homeownership, construction insight, and residential real estate. Their approach is rooted in listening first, advocating always, and working tirelessly to help clients move forward with clarity, confidence, and care.
When you work with Freed Family Properties, you’re not just buying or selling a home—you’re partnering with a family-driven team committed to your well-being, your future, and an elevated real estate experience.
Q&A with Tanya
1. What do you love about your job?
Every client’s needs and goals are different when it comes to homeownership and their real estate portfolio. I love assessing that need or goal in the very beginning, developing the correct game plan with them, and celebrating success together.
2. What are you passionate about?
My communication and ability to answer questions in a timely matter and in a way that makes sense to my clients, from seasoned investors to first-time home buyers. As their realtor, I am not their decision-maker, merely their guide. I help them make informed tactical choices. When my clients feel informed, at ease, and empowered, I know I serve them at the highest level.
3. What do you hear are the most common reasons people love working with you?
Quality over quantity! I will only work with a small number of clients at any given time. I will be there every step of the way and keep in close communication while paying attention to the details that matter most to my clients.
